We all set a goal for our life. Without goal, we will become passive. We tell ourselves- "I will be happy when I reach the goal. " So we condition our mind that "Happiness is there". So till then, I am not happy. If anyone comes in our way of happiness, you will do anything to get him out of my way to happiness. Thus, we create anger, anxiety, fear and other negative emotions. For what- 'to get happiness'.
And by hook or by crook, we succeeded in achieving that goal. How long can you stay happy when you have created so many negative emotions along the way?
Happiness is a state of being, created while working towards the goal. It is not a feeling to be experienced after achieving the goal.
You have to care about yourself. Even if I don't do well, at least I can take care of myself. Before I take responsibility of those around me, I need to take responsibility of my own thinking and feeling.
If you create pure and positive thought it is a right thought. If it is a right thought you feel good. If it is not then you feel weak. Thus you are not stable.
We are conditioning our happiness. We thought happiness was supposed to come from outside. We forgot it should always flow from inside out.
